Unsubscribe Me!

I realize January is not Spring (although you could fool me with this weather), but I needed to Spring Clean my inbox of all the random things I’ve signed up for over the years. I have an email address dedicated to signing up for crap, don’t pretend you don’t have one too. But even that is full of stuff that I just delete without reading. And the OCD in me can’t just leave it unread until it deletes itself. I feel a teeny bit bad abount unsubscribing; most of these are from causes I support or stores where I sometimes shop, but I feel the need to purge. I’m sure I’ll miss sales or coupons or a great deal on concert tickets that I might not have bought anyways, but I think I’ll be ok. The unsubscribe option is so much easier than calling up the catalog company that keeps delivering paper crap to my mailbox. That’s a task for another day.
