Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part Two

The final Harry Potter movie, such a bittersweet event. Not quite as overwhelming as finishing the final book, but still emotional. Jen, Scully and I decided we needed shirts to commemorate the final midnight screening (cause, let’s face it, I’m not doing that again). We gathered at Craft Central (my place) with our other Potterites, Erica and Bethany, for a day of Harry Potter crafting and came up with these beauties:

The back of each shirt had this on it:
We stuck with Harry until the very end

That’s my Gryffindor scarf and movie ticket, taken at 3am when I got home. Needless to say, I was a zombie at work the next day, but it was so worth it. The movie was great!! It picked up right where Part One left off without wasting any time. Of course, this means that if you haven’t seen Part One, or read the books, this really isn’t a movie for you. Comparing the movie to the book (something you should never do) was a bit disappointing, as usual. I was surprised at how much they cut out or glossed over since they had a full-length movie to cover 1/3 of the book; all in the name of big box office monies. The movie was very exciting and entertaining. And I managed to make it through the whole movie without a potty break. Baby Girl was very excited and kept wiggling around (I’ve only just been able to feel her move lately, that’s an experience!).
