Holiday Pre-cap

It started on December 4th and didn’t let up until the evening of the 12th with a few days trickling in after that. Non-stop holiday fun! I usually start getting amped up for the holidays in mid-November and by the first week of December, I’m burnt out. However, for some reason this year, despite the busy schedule and crazy weather, I’m relaxed and calm. I even managed to get the advent calendar up within the first few days of December and have remembered to hang the ornament for each day without hardly any missed days…certain proof that I’m more calm this year. I have no idea why, but I’m enjoying it and enjoying all the holiday (and non-holiday) events that have been rolling my way.
th – Lau lau workshop, Tony’s Maryland crab birthday, OB Christmas Parade
th – Nut Fest 2010
th – extra hula practice with Erin
th – Clarke’s birthday, the birth of our godson Christopher, Christmas tree shopping
th – Hotel Del Coronado
th – just regularly scheduled hula (hey, how did that happen?) and burrito Thursday
th – Halau Holiday Party
th – grand opening of B3 Bicycles, Makaha Sons Christmas Concert
th – Gull Crew Christmas Party
th – HSWRI office Holiday Party
th – Kolohe Christmas
th – December birthdays dinner

Phew. And it’s only the start of Christmas week. Clarke and I have three days of family Christmases and then we’re headed for Santa Barbara camping through New Years.
